In 2018, there were around 674 million social media users in China.* Despite Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter being blocked in the country, local social networking sites such as Tencent WeChat, RED and Douyin have been attracting millions of users, making China the world’s biggest social media market. iClick partnered with Douyin to gather some of the brightest experts on social marketing to discuss the rising trend of influencer marketing in China.
In the happy hour event “iClick Meetup: Influencer Marketing in China” we held earlier in Hong Kong, over 80 clients and partners joined us to exchange knowledge and discuss ideas about social marketing and KOL stratgety in China.
